For almost a year now, after I faced a lot of setbacks and major shocks in my life for three years now. I was always wondering what changed in me and thought I lost myself. I was always asking myself who I am now? Due to which I kind of tried to cope up with that void focussing on other things going in my life (natural human tendency- getting busy), I was also trying to understand myself by spending time with myself. A lot of thinking was there. I was so lost wondering will I be ever able to find my real self?
WHEN I THOUGHT I LOST MYSELF, I FOUND THE REAL ME!!!
Today, I suddenly realized that I am not lost, I am found. I found the old me. I found the 15 years old me. The one I lost 10 years back when I stepped the foot out into the world all by myself. That was the real me, away from world politics, lies, the beautiful and delusional traps of people.
You know I believe we pass through 3 major phases in these 10 years of life (16-18yrs, 18-21yrs, and 21-25yrs). Yes, these are very important age phases in any person’s life because they mold them for their whole life. People believe we get mature in these phases.
Maybe, this is the maturity, finding self. Because these are those 10 years when people are lost. Yes! I suddenly feel I was lost in the past 10 years of the journey of my life and I was learning. During which I met a lot of people and I know who are my real friends now. We do a lot of activities that are good or bad for us in our past. You know what me too! I took a lot of actions, I made a lot of mistakes and a lot of good decisions though. I can feel every inch of my journey.
Now, I know how to fight with this world with the real me. The 15-year teenager who believed in every possibility of life because she was going to step out in the world having real problems, coping up with real people. Finding the difference between what is right and wrong, who should be in life or not, struggling in her own small or big world, finding what her life or she is meant to be.
And the answer is that I am meant to be just me.
Because this is what makes me unique and this is who I am just with a lot of life lessons. Everyone has this adventure and struggle of life going on and it is unique and different for everyone. See, I am not saying that this is the perfect timeline to find yourself, some find it earlier some take time. I also am 1 year late though. So don’t bother, just talk to yourself.
REMEMBER! YOU AREN’T LOST, YOU ARE ON THE UNIQUE PATH OF FINDING YOURSELF…
AND YES WITH A LOT OF MEMORIES!!!
JUST TRY TO KEEP WITH YOURSELF THE BEST ONES AND THROW THE REST ONES…
BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT YOUR JOURNEY IS ALL ABOUT, FINDING THEE… (YOURSELF IN LATIN ENGLISH)
